Alternating Step Crossover Platforms for Compact Industrial Access

Alternating step crossover ladders provide permanent access over conveyors, pipes, machinery, production lines, and other floor-level obstructions where space is limited. The alternating tread design creates a shorter overall span than traditional crossover stairs, helping facilities maintain clear travel paths while improving access across busy work areas.

Space-Saving Crossover Design

The compact stair layout is well suited for manufacturing plants, warehouses, maintenance areas, processing facilities, and equipment access points. Clear span and clear height options allow the ladder to be matched to different obstacles, making it easier to keep personnel moving safely around fixed equipment and restricted floor layouts.

Platform Safety Features

The upper platform includes removable two-sided 39 inch high handrails, a 21 inch mid-rail, and fixed 4 inch toeboards to help prevent objects from rolling off. A 20-1/16 inch usable width between handrails provides practical walk-through access across the platform.

Angles, Capacities, and Installation

This family includes 56 degree and 68 degree step angle models with multiple clear spans and heights to fit different crossover requirements. Steel construction, a durable yellow powder-coated finish, and 350 lb. uniform capacity support long-term industrial use. Pre-drilled lag-down points allow secure floor installation; mounting hardware is not included.
