Manual Pallet Jacks with Hand Brake and Dead Man Brake Control
Manual pallet jacks with hand brake control provide added load handling confidence in warehouses, stockrooms, shipping areas, production floors, and distribution centers. Designed for moving heavy palletized loads, these pallet trucks help operators slow, stop, or control movement more effectively during transport, especially in busy aisles, loading areas, or locations where extra stopping control is preferred.
Hand Brake and Dead Man Brake Styles
This family includes a hand brake model that allows the operator to depress the brake to slow or stop the truck, and a dead man brake model that only moves when the hand brake is depressed. Both styles support safer material handling by giving users more control over pallet truck movement during daily operation.
Heavy-Duty Pallet Handling
Each model features a 5,500 lb. uniform capacity with 27 inch by 48 inch overall fork dimensions and 7 inch individual fork width. The service range of 2-7/8 inches to 7-3/4 inches supports common pallet handling tasks, while the ergonomic design requires only 75 lb. of pulling force when fully loaded. Retrofit kit not available.
Durable Components for Industrial Use
Steering wheels include bearing dust covers for longer life, and nose wheels at the front edge of each fork help with clean pallet entry and exit. A chrome-plated hydraulic pump piston supports long seal life, while the yellow baked-in powder coat finish adds durability and visibility.
